One of my very favorite things to ever do is travel with our kids. My children could easily take a vacation to an economy hotel and spend the time peering out the window.
Do you see this guy? The one on the fence post? Yeah, the large squirrel. That's him.
He spent time foraging through the dumpster and dragging out all sorts of feasts. He would run back to some undisclosed location with his treasures and then come back for more.
The kids spent quite a while watching him. They probably could have spent the entire day watching him. But no, they decided something else would be much more fun.
That something? Was to disturb my slumber, while their father encouraged them by taking pictures.
I was not amused. Notice that I did NOT post the picture that actually shows what I look like in the morning. Ain't gonna happen.
And yet somehow even after this torture I can still say that travel with my kids is an enjoyable experience. One of my favorites.
